Kaoglen Apollo-Hot tub-Cairngorms-Pet friendly

The accommodation was comfortable. Styling and decor was a bit overly glamorous.

The shower/toilet was very basic...heated towel rail did not work. The shower when on didn't drain away and most of the bathroom floor flooded. The kitchen indicated that there was a microwave and we subsequently brought microwave meal for convenience. However no microwave found and we had then to travel to buy food. Inconvenient to say the least. The oven was very difficult to operate. No hanging or drawer space for clothes.

It was very clean and the bed was comfy

The hot tub in the pictures looks like it has good scenery and this wasn’t the case, there was random posts out the ground unfinished. The shower room was terrible, the water took all night to dry and the shower took 15 mins to heat up and wasn’t very convenient when out the hot tub and waiting for it heating up.

The location was great and the staff and the food in the hotel were fantastic.

Where the hot tubs where situated could have been a bit more pleasing in the eye, and could have been doing with being fenced in at the back especially as they are pet friendly lodges.
