The location was fabulous, miles from anywhere and tranquil. Staff very friendly when we engaged with them with the couple of issues we had with the television and water. The bed was comfy and a good nights sleep was had.

For the money we would expect that the outlook to the hot tubs could have been presented a lot better than weeds, and at least some tea bags/coffee/milk/washing up liquid on arrival.

Not really much to do locally. Didn’t have any blinds in the kitchen like the rest of the lodges.

Accommodation was fantastic. Bit hard to find but having the bar/ restaurant next door was great for our first night, (Sunday). More difficult if your first night is a Monday/Tuesday. Very comfortable. Bigger than expected and all the furnishings were lovely. Easy to use oven. Easy to use hot tub. Food great in restaurant and staff very friendly. Dogs are SO welcome. Loved the room!

Wish hot tub was closed in so dog could roam free but we took a peg to tie her to so not a complaint. We also took spare towels to dry batbroom as usung shower meant toilet wet but thinking ahead the extra towel helped. Lots of flies but they are so easy to get out of room so not an issue for us. Think ahead use the advice and issues can be overcome 😁

We loved the location & the actual hotel room was good. The restaurant onsite was very good, we ate dinner there 3 evenings & the staff were lovely, friendly & couldnt do enough for you. We will certainly be returning & would recommend to anyone thinking of going.

The bed in the room was very uncomfortable, perhaps it requires a new mattress & this is no way means all beds are the same. I had a sore back/neck after sleeping there each night which was a shame. My only other criticism is the hot tub area, perhaps enclosing the rear of this would be better to stop pets going into neighbours private spaces & would let the owners relax & chill completely. (I did mention this to owners & they took the criticism well)

The place was great. Nice and remote for relaxing.

The place is dog friendly. However the back garden is not enclosed. This wasn't very good as my puppy couldnt join us in the garden and run about which was disappointing.

It’s location and decor. The hot tub was great too.

A small welcome back would have been appreciated plus a couple more kitchen essentials such as washing up liquid.

Location. Nice decor. Lovely staff.

Room is very very dark. Hot tub is ok but could do with a fence at the back for privacy. Shower very temperamental- either too hot or too cold. Room took a long time to heat up. The bulding is divided into small lodges and does not look very inviting from outside- there were no photos of the front of the building anywhere - if we saw it we probably wouldnt book. The issue with the shower floor and toilet is simply ridiculous as the previous reviews stated. Take flip flops or wellies if you need to use the toilet after the shower!
