The Lister Gate Studios

Great location, in the city centre but far enough away from the street to still be quiet at night. Facilities were exactly as described, hosts very quick to reply as well.

The only good thing about this was the location ! Right in the centre of town near shops and the bus and train stations

The bed linen was torn, pillows flat- see photos It had a tiny window and when you opened it you looked as if you where looking into a lift shaft ! - see photos. The bed was really old and creaked every time we moved. The room next door was obviously rented 'by the hour' by the noises coming from it. We left after 2 nights and paid another hotel. I'm surprised Booking.com have this property listed.

Convenient location for places we wanted to visit

Difficulty getting in - directions for using external keypad poor. Only one cup!! No table to eat at.

Good shower and comfortable bed

No toilet paper or washing up liquid was provided. Building entrance is a little weird and unwelcoming, but the studio itself is comfortable
