Valerie. Is a great host. Nothing is too much trouble. My wife and myself took our cockapoo. And the staff was very helpful. We would highly recommend the old manse. We will be going back again soon

Perfect location as a base for Pickering and to visit Whitby and Scarborough. Beautiful rooms, very friendly owner and staff, fantastic breakfast selection and ample, safe parking.

The only thing I didn't like was leaving to go home!

Great location and Valerie who runs the hotel could not have been more hospitable and welcoming. Her breakfasts were excellent. Private off street parking a bonus.

Nothing comes to mind except the shower was not that powerful.

Lovely little guest house. Room was clean and bright, it looked brand new!! Comfy bed and a quiet location. Parking on site as well and we were able to leave the car there for the day after we checked out. Breakfast was delicious and there were lots of it!!

Not fault of the guest house it was quite a warm evening but the fan in the room helped out with that!!

Valerie the owner is such a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble. She made us feel very welcome. The rooms and bedding are spotless. We would definitely stay here again.
