The Old Manse Pickering

The property was very welcoming. We arrived early but our room was already sorted. It was lovely and warm. We had a view of the back garden and the hills in the distance. The bed was huge and very comfortable . There was plenty of room to park our car at the rear of the property. It only took 5 minutes to walk into the centre of Pickering. Breakfast the following morning was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and Val and all her staff were friendly and welcoming.

We had a lovely stay at The Old Manse. Very clean, comfy bed, nice view onto the garden area and breakfast was great with a good choice. Proprietor was very friendly and nothing was a problem. Would definitely recommend and if ever we are back in the area we would stay again. Highly recommend.

Nice walking distance to you shops. Lovely staff. Lovely breakfast. Dining area was lovely and bright

The two single beds that were joined in the middle that made it uncomfortable for my husband and I. Also tumble dryer was on until about 9.30pm at night. Which we could here in our room

Ideally placed, plenty of parking, the host Val was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay ideal, rooms/bed really comfortable, breakfast was amazing, home from home, highly recommend.

Val was the complete host nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was exceptional and it had a lovely homely feel. We brought our dog Daphne and we had a lovely garden room that was great for accessibility. Daphne enjoyed her sausage for her breakfasts !

We've stayed here a few times and val is so welcoming and friendly,nothing is too much trouble, even our dog got a sausage for breakfast 😀 the location is great,just a small walk into the village
