Entire studio with private parking and balcony

Everything! The location was excellent, it's such a cozy place with great facilities, so lovely and warm and clean , and I loved the fact it has off street parking as well, but that they will also provide a permit for you as well to park on the road. It's so handy as well, as you're literally minutes from the sea front as well 😁

Nothing not to like, it was perfect ☺️, there is literally nothing the owners haven't thought of.

Difficulty getting into the accommodation and the stairs to the room.

Small but cosy space, with lots of thoughtful additions and great use of storage space. Bed was comfy and friendly welcome upon arrival. Parked on street easily for my 4 days here, and permits were provided which I was grateful for.

The shower was either extremely hot or extremely cold and the poor water pressure made it very difficult to have a proper wash here. I flagged this but little could be done, and nobody checked in afterwards. I ended up going to friends' houses up to 30 mins away to have a shower. I also texted to ask if 2 friends could pop in for a cuppa one morning after a sea swim, as it was not laid out in the rules, but was ignored. A simple no would have sufficed. It left a bad taste. Lastly, lights are really needed for safety when leaving the property on dark mornings and at the gate for locking and unlocking as it is very difficult to do this in the dark.

Proximity to Theatre (workplace) Private and cosy. Everything I needed. Clean and comfortable. The Terrace was a lovely place for breakfast. Bedvery comfy

Hi There, I would like to let you know that there is nothing wrong at all with the hosts, they were absolutely lovely and did everything they could to right the issue that My Son and his partner had. I got this as part of a gift for my son along with a show. The reason we picked this studio was because My Son has mobility issues and was one of the closest to the venue he was visiting. However on his way home, They popped into mine to let me know how their weekend went. There was Multiple issues, from power cuts to weird placing of utensils ( bathroom/toilet cupboard ) to feeling unsafe on the balcony because screws were rusted and loose, as was shelving in the room,The host walked into the studio unannounced through an adjoining door, where my Son’s partner was naked as the lady didn’t knock. I could easily go on with the things that they informed me about, however I will not, but suffice to say that we will not be using there again, and not because of the host at all, they said Jackie was absolutely lovely and didn’t want me to contact you, however I feel the need to because they said with some of the issues, it made them feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Therefore I would like you to look into this situation please, because I have been left extremely disappointed for them for what should have been a lovely weekend away, and I am not happy about it as I paid for it for them. Good location

Comfortable and clean

Although the space is a bit tight, the room had everything I needed. I didn't cook, but the ability to do so is provided. The bed was comfortable and it was lovely to have some private outside area. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and helpful. The locked box was a bit difficult to access in the dark as you have to reach through the vertical rungs of a gate. Fortunately, Jackie heard my endeavours and came out to assist.

I booked this accommodation because it stated it came with private off street parking. Which it does, if you get in first. I travelled with a hire car and I know from previous experience that parking in Southend can be a nightmare. I was able to park next to the studio on the first night, but the second night I had to park on the street. The host provided a permit, which was great, but it meant I couldn't come and go independently.
