The Black Dog Apartment

The apartment was beautifully decorated and furnished, and really well kitted out. We stayed with our toddler and the host had provided a baby monitor, travel cot, stair gate, baby bath, and highchair. The kitchen had everything you would need for any cooking you might want to do, and the coffee machine was a nice touch. Great location for the places we wanted to visit too.

Beautiful, self contained. I’d love to live in a place like this if I didn’t have children 😂 It has everything you need for a comfortable night (or two) away.

Heating was controlled by the pub so for a bit hot/ cold at times. The steps up to the property are a bit slippery when wet.

Very clean. Very well converted with good quality design and materials. Kitchen/ dining room well fitted out. Well equipped. Accommodation very warm.

Problems with hot water in kitchen. Took excessive discharge of cold water to acquire hot water.

It's very cute and cosy it had everything you need, it is smaller than the pictures suggest but that only makes it more cosy Bed is super comfy and it was toasty warm. Shower was lovely and hot Cereals,milk tea, coffee and sugar provided was a lovely touch The pub attached is lovely and oh boy best burger I have ever eaten and at a reasonable price. Perfectly located for the zoo,about 2 mins drive away. We will definitely be back

The settee whilst comfy could maybe use firmer base cushions and the table had a bit of a wobbly top that needs fixing. Neither of these comments are deal breakers or would stop me from revisiting.

The how could have been more engaging I was just handed a key and told were the apartment was intestines two days but never saw anyone in that time but to be honest the place was amazing would stay again

Completely equipped with all the amenities you could need for a short and extended stay. Beautiful building with beautiful views, and very close to all of the ‘to-do’ things in the area.
