The apartment was probably the best we have ever had with regards the kitchen and all the utensils provided. The location was wonderfully quiet and spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom equipped with everything you could possibly want.

Beautiful apartment and exceptionally clean! The owners had done everything to make our stay comfortable even including everything we needed for our toddler to stay (Cot, high chair, baby bath and video monitor)! Great location to the zoo everywhere else you will need to drive out but lovely views throughout! We had milk, cereals and all the utensils needed for cooking which was excellent! The apartment has been kept to such a high standard and we had a lovely stay here!

The kitchen was well equipped, which was really necessary but made the stay more comfortable. There were even some breakfast cereals and milk, gratis. Also they could provide two separate quilts for the bed.

There wasn't anything really.

If you need peace and quiet, this place is for you. It is better to have a car with you cause there are many atrocious beetween 15- 30 min drive ( If you have 4x4 car there is a off road experience nearby). Now about accommodation. As a person with OCD I see more... this place was spotless. There was no even one thing about housekeeping I could complain. Everything was new and clean. In the kitchen planty of tea, coffee sugar or even a wee milk and 3 kinds of cereal.you can cook, bake, or make a pizza because all tools are there.In the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. In the pub downstairs you can eat and drink for responsible maney- amaizing burgers and big portions. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Well recommend!if you loking for quiet time- this place is for you.

Very cosy and comfortable. Extremely clean throughout. Well set out with everything we needed. Very close to the safari zoo which was the reason for our stay.

Wifi poor and constantly dropping out which meant using Netflix/ iplayer etc impossible to use.

After a 2 night stay I can say this possibly has to be the best apartment we have ever ever stayed in. From booking, to arriving, communicating and the hospitality during our stay was just outstanding. The apartment itself is just beautiful, modern, decor is lush, kitchen has everything you could possibly need to even baby/children cutlery. The bed is the most comfiest bed you could ever expect! The views are unreal, the apartment is located above the pub which is very quiet no noise, opposite a farm so expect to hear some animals and obviously the farming vehicles. But that didn't bother us in fact it made our stay that more better with the views and watching the lambs running around. The area itself is quiet with not much around, there is a zoo 3 minutes down the road which was very good. A town called Ulverston which is 10 minute drive with plenty of shops, places to eat/drink. Would definitely recommend the farmers bar, absolutely amazing food and the portions were huge! Definitely get your monies worth. The hospitality was just exceptional, nothing was too much trouble at all. The most nicest man behind the bar (sorry I didn’t catch your name) was just an absolute gentleman, I honestly cannot recommend this place enough and have already told others to stay here if they were to venture to this area! We will definitely be back if we come to visit again! Thank you so much and look forward to seeing you in the near future.

It's a clean, modern and comfortable apartment and we really enjoyed our stay. We had our baby with us, and the apartment had been fully equipped for our stay with a travel cot, blanket, baby bath and towels, and even a baby monitor! You can tell that a lot of thought and attention to detail had gone into the setup of the apartment, it felt very well maintained. It's got everything you could possibly need for a few days at the Lakes and it felt nice and homely. Tom and the pub staff were lovely. Very helpful and quick to assist if needed. Location wise, it was pretty spot on. It's a remote and quiet country road (great for families with babies!), but close enough to all the action that we were able to do lots of things each day.

Hard to complain really. If I'm being fussy, I'd say that the steep stairs to the top floor of the apartment took a bit of getting used to whilst carrying the baby up and down, but most won't even notice that.

Great location for what we needed. Tom was very helpful when we thought we may have an issue with arrival time. Was clean, had everything that you would need and extra touches such as cereal and milk were nice. Would definitely stay again.

Stairs a little steep as husband just had surgery but this isnt a negative on the property.

How comfortable clean and cosy.
