Iowa House Historic Inn

Excellent breakfast cooked for us. Excellent location near the University. Good looking historic building. Cozy room. Clean. Would book again.

There was a funny smell in the bathroom, and with the room freshener plugged into the wall, I think it was not temporary. Not overwhelming. The paint was peeling on the bathroom pipe. Hall carpet was a little dark and worn.

I was delighted to find that Iowa House was the same comfortable and accommodating place I've come to expect. Everything from the bed to the breakfast was excellent.

We were only here for one night. Nice B&B, quiet and comfortable in a historic house. Easy parking and self-check in. Room was spacious and clean but dated. Breakfast room was nice but a huge amount of processed food, lots of packaging and plastic. The warm breakfast sandwich they offered was ok and homemade.

It's dated. lots of waste, at breakfast room with the packaging and processed food and in the room with the tiny toiletries.

Everything was excellent...will stay there again!
