Main Stream Beach Villa

unser Aufenthalt war TOP. Das Essen war hervorragend gut, sowohl Frühstück, als auch das Abendessen. Es wurde frisch zubereitet, man konnte sogar auf den Grill sehen. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Aussicht auf den See und waren sehr zufrieden damit. Mr. Mainstream (Bruce) hat sich bestens um uns gesorgt. Wir erinnern uns gerne an die gemeinsame Zeit. Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, den wir wieder wählen würden und gerne weiterempfehlen. Danke für die gute Zeit und Unterhaltung : ))

Das Frühstück war eingeschränkt gut, wenn man sich auf britisches Frühstück einstellen konnte. Die Lage direkt am See ist eigentlich ideal, wurde aber durch die Überschwemmungen beeinträchtigt, die sich kurz zuvor ereignet hatten.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Personal war schwierig wegen fehlender Englischkenntnisse. Das Haus wirkte im Detail stark vernachlässigt (Kaputte Zimmerschlösser, kaputte Lampen, hygienische Probleme (Ameisen in einem Kühlschrank). Undurchsichtige Preisgestaltung (ein Zimmer war plötzlich teurer als das andere, was bei Booking nicht erwähnt wurde). Umgangston zwischen Besitzerin und Mitarbeitern war teilweise stark gewöhnungsbedürftig. Strand wegen Überschwemmung nur eingeschränkt nutzbar, nur zwei Liegen vorhanden

Excellent staff, hosts were so friendly, helpful & welcoming. Perfect choice for our final few nights in Malawi prior to returning home. Great food. Booked wonderful morning trip to Kuti wildlife with them and booked transfers which was very convenient.

Couldnt be helped but unable to leave bathroom window open or would get infestation of flies on the sink.

Loved the hospitality and the food was so amazing. Such a wonderful place to relax. Definitely coming back!

Staff were friendly, the food was good, and the building terrace was good to hang out on. Always good background music too.

The place is tired and needs some TLC. Whilst there is a sea view, the 'beach' area is disappointing. Shower didnt have hot water in the mornings, and the shower head didn't do its job!

I had a nice relaxing stay. The private beach area was bigger than I expected, I spent a lot of time soaking up the sun. Great view from the veranda, which was a nice place to have breakfast. Bruce and Irina were great hosts, friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond on my first night as I arrived extra late from the Ilala. I had a laid-back relaxing couple of days. I'm glad I decided to spend 2 full days here. I definitely recommend Main Stream Villa and I'd definitely stay here again if I was in the area. I wish I had brought a flag with me to add to their collection!
