IEIEIEBorris village is really picturesque and is a pleasant drive from Dublin. We chose Borris House as a friend had attended a wedding here and we wanted access to the River Barrow and also be close to Mount Leinster. Our family really loved the whole experience.
IEBorris a hidden gem with lots of outdoor activites to choose from. We spent the afternoon walking the River Barrow by Clashganny House (restaurant) and there was alot of activity on the river (fishing and kayaking). There was a beautiful cafe (Plur) in local pub which helped fuel the activites in afternoon. Borris House is really beautiful and was great value for money The room, the bed, the experience all exceeded expectations.
