Excellent home cooked food and a lovely welcome.

The room was rather small.

The owners were so friendly and helpful,the hotel is small and only four rooms,so it's quiet,also has just been refurbished in the last two years and is very nicely done ,the food was lovely at night and for breakfast, offering everything you could think of all inclusive off your room price

There weren't many downsides at all just didn't serve tenents lager,and if you are going to the races it is a little bit out of the way unless you know you have a taxi booked in advance as there is not a lot of them in the area,so make sure you are well prepared

The property is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The rooms are lovely.

Friendly welcoming hosts. Good sized comfortable rooms. Great food cooked to order. Chose the Plough based on reviews and we were not disappointed.

Very good food and David and Sarah are excellent hosts .

Stairs are a bit awkward . Some extra handrails on other side would be good .

Super-welcoming and helpful. We had not booked a table in the restaurant for an evening meal but they absolutely went out of their way to fit us in anyway, even though they're popular, were fully booked as a result and it was a lot of effort for them. The food and the service were excellent and we were very appreciative (but also a bit sheepish about the trouble we'd put them to).
