Great walk to the beach and easy access. Buildings need up keep as well as pool. Workers were friendly and attentive.

I don’t usually write reviews, but the experience was that poor. The restaurant was obscenely overpriced so we would walk 1 km in the blistering sun each way into town to eat. I watched dozens of people approach the restaurant, read the menu, turn around and leave. Any business that cared would recognize this and adjust. The bedrooms were small and the bathrooms were very dirty. We arrived at 4pm and our room wasn’t ready. When we did get our room, we had to air it out because it was very wet and had a bad smell. I have stayed in many dingy places across the world and generally don’t mind unless I feel like I am getting ripped off. I felt I was getting ripped off here. Finally, we asked about a driver service to take us to the airport. They quoted us $250. We found another hotel that offered it to us for $120. Another example of massively inflated prices.

The location is great; it has a nice-size pool. The staff were really nice and helpful.

The window treatments are pretty much see-through, so be careful when changing ! The room was filled with mosquitoes, so we had to go buy repellent at the convenience stores across from the hotel. Nothing major but it took some time and energy from us in order to sleep comfortable.

The young man at the gate was very professional and we enjoyed talking with him. We tipped everybody because they work so hard.

No complaints

This was a horrible experience. I will never be going back. It was referred to me by my parents as they had gone last year and mentioned it was a beautiful, clean place. I was down with my boyfriend, his mother and my parents. We came all the way from Canada and it was an embarrassment to say the least. Issues were the following: 1 - staff was unpleasant, unprofessional, and lacked experience or customer service skills. 2- room was not ready when we arrived- room was to be ready at 1pm. We arrived from 4pm (er had been driving for hour to get there) and the room was not ready. The rooms sheets still needed to be changed and the towels needed to be changed. I informed the manager of my dissatisfaction to which she answered , “well we will give you the room “. There was no apology or any type of explanation. She simply rolled her hair around her finger and made it seem as we were troubling her because we were stating the room was not ready. My mother in law is 80 years old and simply wanted to rest and take a shower, which was not possible. 3-unprofessional and unpleasant staff- the staff took us to the room and opened a room which was already occupied. Nobody knew what they were doing, and everyone was very unorganized and unpleasant. 4- Place was dirty and unkept - Not only the hotel itself but the rooms were not what we saw in the pictures; the walls, floors, pillow covers and floors were dirty. 4- False advertising- We had booked a room with 3 beds; not only was it dirty (I will send pics), the room was EXTREMELY small. We would not be able to sleep in there, the beds were literally side by side. It is not explained on the website that the room is that small. We had just come back from another place and it had 5 beds and was big enough for all of us to stay in the one room. I am beyond disappointed, please do not book this place. It is not what is advertised, staff is rude, manager is incompetent and does not know how to deal with customers.

The location was nice. The beach was beautiful and it was close to the town of El Cuco.

The service at the restaurant was slow. The food was super expensive compared to everywhere else we went in El Salvador and not that great. But the worst was the lack of cleanliness in the room. The walls were disgusting and the bathroom was disgusting. They also only had 1 towel in the room, we had to ask for a second. They refused to give us 2 more for the pool/beach so you have to use the same towel for everything. The bed and pillows were also not comfortable. The only furniture was a bed so theres nowhere to put bags or anything. The window was also cracked and needed replacing. The bathroom fan vented straight into the room instead of outside. The light fixtures were weird and grungy and dirty. This was our least favorite hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip.
