**Review: A Stay at Opik Homestay** Staying at Opik Homestay is an absolute must for anyone, regardless of age. Opik is not only an exceptional host but also the best guide you could ask for. He introduces you to the sides of Indonesia that you wouldn't typically see as a tourist. One of the highlights was learning about traditional sarong making. We even had the chance to try them on, which was fantastic. Our adventures didn't stop there. We went mountain climbing, visited the monkey forest, and saw how locals weave baskets and bags. I even got to try my hand at weaving, which was an incredible experience. This stay was undeniably the highlight of our entire vacation in Bali and Lombok. The food at Opik Homestay is delicious, and the accommodation is both clean and beautiful. We will definitely return, but next time for a longer stay. Beyond the wonderful experiences, we have also gained a friend. Thank you, Opik, for everything!

My stay should have been longer.

Fantastic local experience. Newly opened so needs a few finishing touches. The bungalow was large, clean and very calming. Had a great sleep, comfortable bed and cool temperature. The best part was the staff. Opik, did a tour of the area with us at a great price 200k per person. Then he took us to the local markets and fish farm to buy our dinner and cooked over coals that night. Even got some vegetables from his garden ! Oh and shouldn’t forget the price. Bargain!!

Not a lot, some art or something in the bungalow would finish it off, but early days and I’m sure he will finish it off nicely.
