Fuego Atitlan Eco-Hotel

Mooie plek mooi uitzicht. Gedeelde faciliteiten waar je gebruik van kan maken.

Helaas een stuk lopen naar wc. De wc stinkt omdat het een eco wc is waarbij je in een emmer poept met zaagsel. Ook mag je alleen beneden roken wat betekend dat je behoorlijk stuk moet lopen. Ook is het buiten het centrum waardoor je met een tuk tuk moet reizen. Kost 30 qzl per rit.

This is one of the most magical places I stayed. The location is perfect, the yurts are super comfy, views breathtaking, and all the facilities are neat and welcoming. The staff was great and created a lovely atmosphere to both feel included and free to be alone. This is just perfect.

I loved everything but travelers may want to know that there are a lot of steps especially for Yurt 3 and 4.

La habitación estaba en buen estado y el personal fue amable.

La ubicación no es muy buena si se tiene alguna discapacidad o inconveniente para subir escaleras. Las zonas verdes se ven deterioradas y sin mantenimiento esto hace que la vista hacía el lago se vea afectada. Pese a que es un Eco hotel y tienen medidas como el baño seco no tienen un manejo de olores dentro de las instalaciones esto hace que el ambiente no sea agradable. Solo hay una opción de desayuno. El espacio donde esta ubicada la cama es muy incómodo nos golpeamos con frecuencia.c

The view from the room was amazing, and the breakfast was the best thing in the entire world. Room had everything we needed.

We were expecting we would see insects, but there were too many spiders in our room.

The views were incredible, having a private terrace in which we had breakfast was a real treat.

Eco loos naturally don’t smell the best but perfectly useable

An der Unterkunft hat uns alles gefallen! Die Nähe von Yurt 1, in dem wir untergebracht waren, war super zu der Gemeinschaftsküche und den Toiletten/Duschen. Die Unterkunft bot alles, was für einen Kurzaufenthalt notwendig war.

The location was beautiful and very special. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff was friendly and nice.

It was missing a nice place to sit comfortably and enjoy the view and the outdoors. The idea behind the bathroom and showers is nice but I think that it needs to be cleaned more often to keep things more hygienic.

The view is the highlight of this accommodation. Small issues with lack of hot water for showers, but this is an eco stay so that is expected. Also they had issues providing clean towels. We stayed 3 nights and they said ther were unable to replace our towels. Its a fancy tent. We did have ants in our items. The toilets smell bad, but again this is camping. The included breakfast was lovely.
