Location really good for arrival at station and exploring the centre of city. washing machine very handy.

Some finer details missing. Pull out bed as described means no relaxed seating

Just on the end of one of the main roads, quiet, but very easy access to Bologna’s main spots.

A few niggles but we told the manager and they are being sorted.

The apartment was 5 minutes walking to center. It was very clean and in a very good neighborhood.

I booked this hotel in Bologna but did not end up staying there. She’s are the reasons why. I felt alienated and unsafe. It’s sold as a luxury apartment in the center of Bologna in an ‘elegant apartment complex protected by a superintendent and a doorman’. DO NOT BE FOOLED. It is NOT an elegant apartment complex with doorman etc. It’s in a OFFICE Bldg what was basically deserted on the Saturday I arrived. The access was complicated and the elderly man at the front door could not speak a word of English. He was not a concierge and did not seem to be waiting in my arrival. Just hanging around. I was not met by anyone and the key did not work for the main door. When I finally found the small studio it was very basic and dark. Luxury?? No! It’s a great shame that booking.com is sometimes now acting as a de facto for airBnB by these kinds of owners of single apartments in all sorts of strange places. When I called to complain to the owner he said there were other apartments on the building. That may be so but it’s not a luxury apartment complex at all. The signboard listed only office names or those of legal professionals.

The unit was rather small, but very nice and very well located close to the center, a bus stop to the train station. and it had everything we needed, including a bit of olive oil, salt, bathroom articles, and a bottle of water in the fridge. Alessandro was very helpful and responded to all of her questions promptly.

No negatives.
