Uniqueness of space and facilities. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Meal provided and facilities to cook with were so good. Bedding provided was warm and cozy as overnight was cold.

This was an incredible luxury camping experience. Our tent was huge and very comfortable. We had multiple heaters to keep us warm as we visited in late October. The location of the camp is amazing. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Having a warm foot bath while drinking a beer in the cool evening is a wonderful experience. Another useful aspect is that the Nakasendo trail passes directly through the camp, making it a very convenient spot to spend the night if you are walking the trail.

Can't really think of anything negative to say. We had an amazing and comfortable night.

Really convenient location for those hiking the Nakasendo trail. I didn't realize it at the time of booking, but the trail runs right through the campground. We had a lot of fun cooking dinner and breakfast. The setup makes it really convenient to just do the fun parts of cooking, and cleanup is really easy as well in the main lodge. The tents are very spacious and have heaters incase it gets cold at night. Additionally, our tent had a great view which overlooked the valley and mountains.

Not the location's fault, but we had monkeys in the tree outside our tent which woke us up a few times over the night. So, while the camp site itself was very quiet and outside the town proper, it is not guaranteed to be a quiet sleep.

Great place right on the Nakasendo way. Tents were super warm.

High price for what it was.

Very organised and peaceful camp to end our hike along the Nakasendo trail. The site had everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

Mattresses were very stiff with very thin pillows.
