The whole ambience of the hotel,even though its having some renovations done (which you are informed of during booking) it didn't distract from anything.The views are stunning,every member of staff we came across were lovely,especially Lowenna,this fabulous lady knew her drinks and food menu inside out,maintained a great level of service,asking if we needed top ups but not overbearing,we had a great conversation about the hotel and its renovations...The food was lovely,deffo recommend the afternoon tea !!...The rooms were extremely clean,spacious and catered for everything,bed was very comfy. Lovely spa room had a massage which was lush !! Saw the inside pool,looked good...breakfast was delicious,1 x full English and 1 x Eggs Royale plus all the other trimmings you would usually get...a hotel we will definately be coming back to and wouldn't hesitate to recommend...

My one and only gripe (which isn't just for this hotel as We have stayed in others all around the country that do the same) is upon checkout and paying your bill there is a service charge added to go to housekeeping that is discretionary .. I never pay it,not because I don't want to tip but I see it as the guest having to pay extra to 'top up' the house keepings wages? X that per room per day =a fair ole whack of service charges? Why should a guest be asked to do this? It just doesn't look good,of course if an extra tenner was put on the cost of the room to cover this then the guest really would be none the wiser??? Perhaps a bit of food for thought to the management team? Other than that it was faultless and really enjoyable...
