Polurrian on the Lizard

The location has a stunning view. Amazing, fresh breakfast with lots of choices. Food intolerances are taken very seriously, and the staff are happy to make alterations to meals or provide plant milk to take to your room. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Very helpful staff. This wasn't our first time here, and even despite the hotel's expansion (which we were informed about in advance), our stay was wonderful. The bar had a good selection of cocktails and delicious food. There were also plenty of board games, a pool room, and air hockey.

The Wi-Fi signal was very weak in places.

Lovely location & very friendly staff. Room was spacious & spotlessly clean. The food was of a high quality with plenty of choice.

Service was slow on occasions, this was not the fault of the staff as some were working in more than one area. The staff were very apologetic when service took longer than it should.

Stayed in a villa. Decor was lovely, villa well equipped. Fab hotel with stunning location. Building works that are happening until April 2027 did not affect our staym

Great sea views from our room and had a fabulous dinner in the restaurant in the evening. Breakfast was again superb and plentiful. All the staff we met were fantastic, polite and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back again, for another relaxing stay.

Supervision at the swimming pool could have been better, 2 large families over stayed their allotted time, in both the pool and jacuzzi causing other guests and ourselves to lose a considerable amount of our allotted time whilst waiting for them to vacate the pool area.

The staff were sweet and helpful. The location was stunning. The rooms were clean and of decent size.

The rooms were considerably hot. We were made aware of the works going on at the property and despite them starting at a reasonable hour, it was still quite disruptive of a morning. The noise of the works was a shame and sadly was an eyesore to the beautiful view and surroundings. I do think the rooms and the building in general could do with some love and updating.

Informed when I made restaurant reservation that I may hear some slight noise for to building work. However, the extent of work was not communicated. I queried this with the reception upon departure and they pushed the blame onto their contractor staying they'd ask them to update the hotel webpage. To my mind this was an abject failure of the Hotel Management team to be open and transparent. Issues: Views disrupted, gardens partially closed off. Also eating breakfast with a industrial drill which sounded like it was about to break through the restaurant floor (for 20 minutes at 08:30am was not what we expected. Also the food was average to poor, choice poor, quality poor. W
