Clean bathroom

3x broken lock on the door, didn’t fill me with confidence. Boarded up outer window, cupboard door hanging off, general terrible upkeep. Broken tiles, dark hallways. Felt very uneasy.

Very spacious and quiet room which was very clean that I believe that it has been newly refurbished. Parking was free and plenty of spaces in the carpark, however slight concern staff did not take our number plates for registration. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Incredible price for the stay. There was a games room to hang around in.

Blankets were too warm for the season. I felt hot whilst sleeping. Breakfast was decent however does not match the same standard as the accommodation, portions were great and plenty of variety in the menu however lacked strong flavours .

Very grubby carpet throughout the common areas and the bathroom had an unpleasnt stagnated water smell.

It was very hard to find it firstly. Then found spiders in my bed. Toilet was full of limescale Doors are too old, they stuck, cannot close properly. Other guest were making lots of noise early morning(after midnight, 4 am). The domestic staff was hoovering the corridors around 7.30 in Sunday morning!!! Basically it is very dated lodge hotel, needs further maintanance in the future. I wouldn't come back, that's the truth.
