Leeds Dock Apartment

The only thing we really liked about the place was the location, it's is a very nice area.

For a start, the place was not clean at all, marks all over the walls in the hall, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. Plug sockets weren't even secured into the walls. And the paint work was very patchy. The couch was very old and uncomfortable as well as the bed. We went for a nice comfortable weekend and didn't get it. It was incredibly uncomfortable. The taps in the kitchen were leaking, and every time you would use them, they would start shaking, and you could hear the pipes struggling. On that note, my partner went to get a shower the hot water lasted all of 2 mins then turned painfully and I mean painfully cold. We had to use the kettle to just put some hot water in the sink as they were just producing freezing cold water aswell. The description for this place also said it had a balcony l, which it did not have only a French bay window that opened a very small amount, which we didn't even want to do as the person in the apartment below us smoked a hell of a lot of weed, every 20-30 mins all we could smell was weed coming through the windows. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Apartment was clean and warm. Communication from the host Christine excellent and helpful. Quite easy to get into Leeds centre on foot. Handy to have Tesco Express right opposite for provisions. Wi-Fi very good.

The communal areas were rather grubby. The lifts were a bit odd, ground floor turned out to be -1, not 0! Beds were a bit soft for my liking, but may have suited others.

It was very cozy

If your comment about me makes you feel better then good for you. I have all messages between us and was not expecting a free stay as you have stated. Take a look at the pictures from your guest in December 2023 and mine in November 2024 they look very much alike, just saying.

Very clean. Well equipped with little extras to make the stay more comfortable eg toiletries, condiments tea and coffee
