Super friendly accomodating staff and delicious home cooked meals. The rooms were spacious and clean with good dark curtains so could sleep well.

Property was in a perfect location, close to country side and the town. It was clean, good shower and good Wi-Fi. The host was extremely friendly and so helpful.

Bed was a bit hard and a few dogs barking at night but I wouldn’t let this put you off staying here!

"Best Homestay"

Amazing place! I highly recommend staying at Hakuna Mata. Vinh is an amazing host and truly cares about her visitors. She even cooked a special meal for the Israeli guests that were staying here and it was delicious. I got food poisoning from another restaurant in town, and had to extend my stay to recover. Vinh went to the pharmacy to get electrolytes for me, and she cooked a special chicken soup. I am very grateful for her hospitality and have loved my time staying here. The bed is comfortable, the rooms are clean, the bathrooms smell good, and there is tea and coffee all day. Mai Chau is a beautiful little town with a lot to explore. If you visit Mai Chau, choose Hakuna Mata.
