Joy Apartments on Kiraly street

The apartment is beautiful, well-decorated, and in an excellent location in Budapest. It also has a washer and dryer, which is a great convenience for light travelers.

The check-in process was stressful. The check-in details were only shared after 3:15 pm, even though the scheduled time was 3:00 pm, so we had to wait outside with luggage and two children after a long flight. The soap and body wash dispensers were empty and diluted, and the shower was very small, tricky to get into, and had mold in the corners.

Bait and switch is the method used on their website.The room shown on the booking site was not the we were given.also there is nobody present.we waited two hours before We were allowed entry due to the owners insistence on completing an unfamiliar website to comply with Hungarian law.Our phones were unable to handle their request and only because of a caring tenant in their building were we allowed inside.we are a senior couple very well travelled all over the world but never experienced this kind of bureaucratic ignorance.Doran you are a Moron!

It was so cosy, spacious, beautiful. We had everything we needed, the kitchen had all of the possibilities. The staff was very helpful and sweet. The location is pretty good.

It didn’t affect the quality of the property, but we wanted to watch the TV, but it wasn’t working. Also we would’ve wished for more towels and bigger shampoo size.

Getting in” instructions were unnecessarily complicated. One paragraph in booking.com would be good.

Great location, nice apartment

Comfortable and roomy. Good location to much of the tourist attraction area of Budapest. Good response from host when contacted.

Bathroom, in particular the shower, let the apartment down. Water leaking from base shower screen and door area, also needs a good clean in corners. TV needs to be tuned for use.

Great location and nice little studio apartment with a shared washing machine with two other apartments.

Bed is not that comfortable but I understand that is a personal preference. The washing machine is a washer/dryer combination which doesn't dry your clothing well and the accomodation doesn't offer a clothing horse to air out your clothing. We didn't get our check in instructions until after we arrived and had to ask for them.

Everything was great, I would recommend this property to anyone who likes good quality and hassle free hosts. They were really helpful and considerate. Thank you!
