Joy Apartments on Kiraly street

The apartment itself was lovely and spacious and comfortable and in a good central location.

The plastic shower curtain needs to go - everything else has been renovated and modernised but this really spoils what would otherwise be a really good apartment The entrance area is grubby and we found street people digging in the bins within the gated area on a number of occasions. Not sure who is responsible for cleaning the entrance and stairs but something had been spilt in the passage and down the stairs and my husband took a nasty fall down the stairs because of this. It was not cleaned for the rest of our stay.

It’s central location and historic ambience. Gorgeous old buildings and private garden.

The bath towels could have been better. The apartment was advertised as having toiletries but we needed to buy necessities.

The hosts explained the check in process in detail before the stay. The apartment is located in a very good location. It is well decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay.

The booking is misleading, making us believe we will be staying in a small apartment. Instead, because we were two people, we were in a very small room. The booking also advertises great city views but our room had a window into the courtyard and we couldn’t even see out of it or leave it open. For this reason the cost felt a little too high for what we were given

Super location for exploring the Pest side of of Budapest and a short walk across the bridge to get to Buda. so many restaurants, bars, pubs, wine bars in close walking distance. Easy to get taxi's right outside the front door!

The apartment met our needs perfectly. Its an awesome stay for a couple!
