Joy Apartments on Kiraly street

Spacious apartment in an excellent location. Everything you need for a short stay in Budapest. The check in was easy once we had the instructions from our host. Bed was comfortable and given the proximity to the busy road, the noise inside the apartment was minimal.

The only thing which would have made this apartment better would be to have a shelf in the shower for toiletries.

The apartment was in a good location. It was also very well presented and clean.

Opposite a bar which was a little noisy, but not enough to stop us from staying again.

A beautiful bright apartment located in the centre close to bars and the river. So clean and comfortable. Beds very comfortable indeed. Very well equipped. The host was very helpful indeed.

Central location,apartment decor was appealing

check in was difficult ; written instructions for clothes washer and heating would be helpful for guests....we had to ask for help ; list of amenities said toiletries were provided but all that was there on arrival was empty bottles of hand soap, shampoo and dish soap. We had to ask for replacements as well as more toilet tissue. List of amenities said there was a clothes drying rack but there was no drying rack. The condition of the lower area where you enter the building and the halls is appalling....peeling paint and crumbling plaster, dirty graffiti- covered walls, wires protruding from the wall. Loud music from bars and restaurants nearby until 2:00 A.M. on weekends.

The location was great, right next to the restaurant and bar area but not too noisy. The apartment was spacious and clean, also nicely decorated. I had a great time staying there.

There is no lift but I understand due to building is the traditional styles. Luckily, only one floor up, so lot too bad. if the owner could fix was the window shutters, they don’t close properly, so in the morning, there will be sunlight get in from the crack. I have to use one pillow to block it. Also, I would prefer to have double duvet instead of two singles.
