Great Location, very comfortable and well equipped

This wasn’t an issue but shower wasn’t the best. But didn’t effect our stay at all

The location was very easy to find, you are given instructions on the day how to access it through the Hilton by the beachfront. You can't see the beachfront from the living room windows, just the back of other buildings, but it was comfortable and we all slept peacefully. We even got an early check-in, and access to the pool/sauna in the Hilton.

The living room main light wasn't working, thankfully the lamp on the side was so we had light but the lampshade was broken, and a huge chunk of glass lay in the corner. The host said the caretaker would sort it. Also, we weren't sure how to use the oven/microwave as there weren't any instructions but we figured it out after a couple of goes.

The flat is in a great location. Being located on the west side of the building meant you didn't have to use the hotel's main lift. Our lift was very convenient for both the car park and swimming pool and never busy. The rooms were a good size and ideal for 2 people (but wouldn't want to book for more guests)

The furnishings are dated. That in itself isn't a problem, but clearly the flat has seen many many guests over the years and the state of the furnishings show this. What has been broken or damaged, stays broken or damaged. You're asked, understandably, not to wear shoes in the lounge, then look at the state of the carpet and wonder why? And gave up using the shower on day 1. Used the excellent facilities at the pool instead.

Bathroom was spotless but Showering was problematic as water wasn’t hot enough

Excellent Value for money . Good to have use of hotel facilities. Good sized apartment . Close to centre of town and easy access to seafront . Could easily sleep 6. Great space for a weekend getaway for couples or family . Hassle free check in and parking . Reduced rate £27 per day . Generally a great stay despite some maintenance issues that could be easily improved.

The shower was very slow and a bit awkward to use safely. The sharp cornered glass shelves protrude dangerously .. watch your head . I hit mine and it bled. Not enough toilet paper . Bathroom towels looked stained old and smelt bad..with the texture of sandpaper. Apartment was very warm .. and couldn’t work out controls.. carpet in lounge needs replacing ugly stain in the middle . Wet washing in the machine . Mattress in bedroom very uncomfortable and twangy springs. Lumpy hollow fibre duvet ..had a very hot night . Didn’t want to use the ceiling fan as when we arrived a bulb was hanging by a wire . I put it back into its socket it sparked and popped. Be aware ! Maybe call an electrician . All easy fixes.

Great location, right by the sea front.. located on the 6th floor of the Hilton Hotel. clear instructions on how to find the apartment were sent prior to arriving including YouTube videos so we had no issues there. loved that we could use the Hilton's pool etc. we had terrible weather so made use of this both mornings for something to do. the apartment was spacious and well equipped. overall the apartment was very clean. It's very spacious and was perfect for our 2 night break.

Unfortunately we had no hot water from the shower. occasionally the bath tap would run hot. I ended up using the showers in the fitness center but due to a refurbishment of the changing rooms the men's were closed so my partner could only rinse off pool side. we did report this during our stay and the owner was very quick to respond and it was being looked into, so hopefully it'll be resolved before the next guests arrive. The fan above the bed was covered in dust, it could do with a clean.

So sharp intake of breath ! And we are off ! The location is excellent , bang on the beach Bang in the centre of town. Gym/pool excellent , you can use their towels, and not the Apts. Host comms John/Leon Excellent. Very nice big Apt , it just needs a bit of good maintenance and updating in my opinion, hopefully we shall return, if we are allowed!

Apartment needs updating . 1. main door lock needs tightening up 2. Bathroom mirror trim needs refixing 3. Bathroom mirror shaver socket to be RCD/RCBO protected 4. Bathroom Very sharp edges on glass shelves , maybe sand round? Nearly took my eye out. 5. Bath hot tap will not turn off , a d keeps dripping. 6. Bathroom. Small basin plug hard to get out. 
Taps hard to turn off. 7. Bathroom. I Would like a window blind at night. 8. Bathroom. New toilet brush required, old ones on floor? 9. Kitchen. Electrical sockets next to sink to be RCD/RCBO protected . 10. Extra tea spoons would be nice , please. 11. Kitchen . Watch that draw on the dishwasher knob info only. 12. Main fuse board may meed upgrading as in my humble opinion may not meet current electrical standards , suggest start with “Landlord 5 yr Electrical test and report inspection “ 13. Am Not over keen on plastic plants everywhere info only . 14. Am assuming the smoke detector is connected to main hotel system , when was it last tested ?
