Modern Apt in Central Reykjavík

Central location was good. Modern flat

Limited kitchen equipment. Expensive parking. Drains poor

Parking right underneath, location, apartment - we absolutely loved it! Great value for money!

Instructions for entering from the parking lot could be clearer: "Press key sign, then code, then key sign again". Using lights was confusing, some lightbulbs didn't seem to work, maybe stickers on individual switches to explain what is for what?

We loved the location .Its centrally located . The food hall and other restaurants are right down the street. We walked to the pier , to the rainbow street. and to the lake for a stroll. Its modern property loved it .

Some of the lights were not working properly. We wish we had a fan. It does get noisy at night as the windows were open.

The management company is not working well. The water in one shower did not drain. Poor cleaning quality, bad towels, when we arrived the dishes were still being washed in the dishwasher. They charge 120 euros for cleaning, have 6 hours between check-in and check-out and do not clean well. There was no shampoo or shower gel. This is beautiful apartment, expensive price, they should try to give hotel quality.

We booked this after the weather forecast, because the location would allow us to explore the capital on foot despite of snowfall. We even saw northern light at the Sun Voyager despite of the light pollution. What a surprise!

- The location was excellent. - The apartment was very clean, and tidy. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well-equipped. - The rooms were a good size, with plenty of storage space, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. - The temperature in the apartment was perfect - despite it being December. - We were able to get the keys from the lock-box at the apartment, so no issues there.

There was supposed to be an additional chip or electronic fob on our keys and we were not provided with this. This was needed to open the trash bins outside the building, and also to open the front door of the building after a certain time in the evening. Guest services responded very promptly and resolved the building access issue quickly! However, we were not able to use the exterior bins during our stay. This was fine for our trip, but would have been an issue if it been a longer holiday. Other than that, there was the minor issue that the lights and TV controls were a little difficult to understand.
