We had an amazing stay at White House Group of Houseboats and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Srinagar. One of the biggest advantages of this houseboat is its location at Ghat No. 12. Unlike many other houseboats, it is positioned at the corner, which gives beautiful open views of the lake. We could enjoy the lake view directly from our bedroom window, which made the experience even more special. The shikara ride from Ghat No. 12 was also very scenic and peaceful. A special thanks to Mr. Ibrahim, the owner, for his exceptional hospitality. Beautiful views, excellent location, and outstanding hospitality. Thank you, Ibrahim, for making our Kashmir trip memorable.

White House Group of Houseboats stands out as the last in the row on Dal Lake near ghat 12, offering an unobstructed panoramic view of the lake, mountains, and passing shikaras. We enjoyed peaceful mornings and evenings on the deck. Ibrahim (owner) was exceptionally helpful, assisting with our onward travel to Zojila Pass, itinerary planning, and arranging early breakfast. The in-house shikara ride was a highlight, though it's wise to confirm rates upfront. Overall, it provides an authentic, serene Dal Lake experience with excellent service and great value. Waking up to stunning views from the houseboat was a treat. Shikaras are available round the clock, and the breakfast was punctual and fresh.

Hausboot hat die beste Lage. Man sieht mehr als die Boote daneben da es am Eck der ersten Reihe liegt.

Dinner was delicious and home-cooked. Room ambience was good. Staff was exceptionally good. Staff Hashim was very humble, soft-spoken, and kind. He provided a lot of information during the shikaara ride.

The area oustside the houseboat can be more attractive and clean.

I had a wonderful stay here. The house boat is charming & very traditional, with lovely decor. & it has an enviable location, right at the end of a row of boats, so all bedrooms have stunning, unobstructed views of the lake. It was magical waking up every morning to see the sun rising over the mountains - unforgettable! But what really made my stay a true pleasure was Mr Ibrahim's fantastic Kashmiri hospitality. He was warm, attentive & went out of his way to make sure my stay was comfortable here. Imran, who helps out on the boat, was also so kind - you must take a shikara ride with him on the lake! Overall, I recommend White House without any reservations - don't hesitate in booking!

Good, safe houseboat, kind owner Mr Ibrahim and staff. This houseboat is at an unbeatable location. We had an unobstructed peaceful view of Dal Lake and hills beyond. Excellent to bird watch and also to watch life on the lake as the shikaras start to move around. Although Mr Ibrahim was in constant touch from the time we booked, he was called away for a family occasion so we met him only briefly. But he was on the phone, always concerned about us. The house boy Imran deserves much credit for managing everything in his absence, from breakfast to the shikara shuttle. Ghat 12 is also excellent, close to everything from Uber cabs to restaurants. Also many points for cleanliness and hot water on tap. Great value in general.

Das Bett war für mich (1,87m) zu kurz, was keinen guten Schlaf zuließ
