White House Group Of Houseboats

The houseboat is very spacious and clean. And the location of the houseboat is ideal. It has straight view to Dal Lake. The staff and service is very good. The owner also gives good suggestions to local spots. One of the best experiences from our trip in Kashmir

It's probably the best House boat you can have at Dal Lake. Location of the house boat is perfect @ Ghat No. 12 and opposite Food street. Being the corner most, it has the advantage of wonderful view of Dal Lake. Owner of the Houseboat i.e. Mr. Ibrahim Goona is a wonderful host & gives personal attention to the guests. Breakfast was Limited but sufficient enough.

excellent location, not far from ghat, dal lake view from room was excellent, we enjoyed breakfast and dinner a lot, was homemade. Ibrahim bhai the house owner was very welcoming and helpful person. his hospitality felt us homely, his staff Ashraf bhai was very caring. Gulzar bhai the driver, was very welcoming and nice person whom we got by Ibrahim bhai ,grateful for that.

Not worth the money..

Room was small.. no heater..stinky blankets.. not worth the money.. After posting the review owner has come up with false statement stating that we broke the bathroom. Absolutely we have not caused any single damage to the property. owner should not opt for receiving comments when they cant take the truth.

1.We had booked only 1 room for 3 days and needed another for our parents at very short notice. Mr.Ibrahim(owner) went out of his way to accommodate us though the houseboat was sold off. 2. The location - unlike other houseboats which are lined up parallel to each other, this one is at a corner giving you an excellent view of the lake and hills. 3. Breakfast was enjoyable, cleanliness in the room was up to the mark, hot water in the shower area and sink tap was comforting,3 warm blankets were placed in each room to take care of the cold. 4. To and fro journey from the lake ghat to the houseboat at any time of the day and late in the night was available and complimentary. 5. Guidance for travelling around , shikara ride at reasonable rate and most importantly a comforting and hospitable environment makes this houseboat a sure come back for me and my family.

We stayed at White Houseboat in April'24 and it was an amazing experience. The houseboat is beautiful and located at a great spot. We got amazing sunrise views right in the morning. The owner and staff is very warm, welcoming and caring. They also provide pickup from Airport and shikara ride. The owner also helps provide a lot of information about Srinagar and arranging a cab for our trip to Leh. Breakfast is included and available at your convenience. Rooms have WiFi and are comfortable. Bathrooms are clean. We had a great stay and we highly recommend this houseboat.

Everything was just fantastic. They give a tasty morning breakfast. They offer on-demand cuisine. We had a nice dinner there. Homemade food. The view from the room windows will add zest to your  day.
