"Riverside Cotage is a bird-spotters paradise, hidden away in deepest Devon!"

We have stayed in over 100 places in the last 12 years, but Riverside Cottage has left us withthe happiest memories.Total tranquility, an infinity of birdsong, and the stream in the background. The hosts, Jo and Mark, radiated welcome, helpfulness and generosity. Mark built the whole property ,which is extremely comfortable and homely. Jo seemed never to stop working, keeping everything immaculate. The double bed,incidentally, was like sleeping on air! Another thing-the plumbing was brilliant, with super- hot water arriving instantly. We were really sorry to leave.

Lovely , comfortable property in an outstandingly beautiful and tranquil area. Fantastic hosts , especially Jo who was brilliant with the grandchildren involving them in the daily animal feeding. Great log burner and fresh eggs for breakfast.

Everything at the location of the accommodation Jo was literally amazing so lovely kind and could not do enough to make sure our stay was other than perfection My grandson loved feeding the animals with Jo and the eggs from the chickens where delicious

"The perfect getaway"

Everything about the Annexe is absolutely perfect, from the considerate and thoughtful hosts, to the comfy, well appointed accommodation and, of course, the site itself, which has something for everyone, including goats and hens, basketball and zipwire, and walking trails (which we hope to explore next time). It's not just for young children; our teenagers also loved the place and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you for the fresh eggs and Christmas chocolates. Very kind and much appreciated!!
