The Reflectory at Ryedale House

Perfect location quiet enough to settle down on a night yet only a 5min walk into town to the nightlife Lovely comfy rooms and such pretty interior with a fantastic view Check in and out was easy thanks to the constant checking in on booking messenger

Couple of the draws were broken and a socket was very loose out one of the walls but other than that we can't complain at all

This apartment is 10 out of 10! The views are amazing, it's spacious and clean. And the location is approx. 7 min walk from local attractions but still avoids the busy crowds. Allure Team had great communication, very responsive and the concierge staff were so polite and helpful. Just a few doors down from both a Tesco Express and Sainsburys with loads of food options for eating out too (we recommend Yates!) Some gorgeous ducks swimming past to enjoy watching with a cup of tea in the morning was bliss! Good wifi and perfectly working Smart TV too. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in York now and we come once a year from Scotland.

Location, it is closed to everything and very easy to walk around the city. modern amenities, great view of the tower comfortable beddings and seatings.

Bathrooms are small with odd faucets that get stuck on the hot setting. Needed to turn hard to get cold water. No AC and it can get stuffy if windows are not opened for awhile. Lots of plugs but not functionable.

Location of property and cleanliness.

No mirrors near sockets.

Apartment size sufficient for 2 couples, all essential goods in kitchen area. Good location, 5 mins walk to museum/tower, 5 mins to the Shambles, 10 mins to York minster.

Some minor maintenance issues- in bedroom I used, loose towel ring in bathroom, plug socket slightly detached from wall. Also, placement of power sockets...none within arm reach of vanity unit ,.but tricky if trying to blow dry your hair!!

No one on reception on arrival - having had assurance (twice) that we could easily leave our two small cases, it proved difficult and took time.

A modern and nice looking apartment in a pretty convenient location.

The beds do not appear to be king size, not even for the UK standards, which was one of the main reasons why we booked this home. Seemed to be somewhere between full and queen.
