Wingate by Wyndham Jonesboro Hodge

This hotel did not have Wyndham signage on the building instead it had vinyl signs indicating that this was in fact the Wingate hotel. The clerk at check in was rude and unfriendly. She seemed as if we were bothering her by simply checking in. She did not tell us our room number or anything about the facility at all. The smell in the lobby was equivalent to the smell of a chlorine supply house. The smell was so strong and overbearing that it gave us headaches. The elevator was provided a dirty, noisy, very slow and scary ride to our floor. The buttons were caked in some substance that I opted to use a tissue to press the button to get us to our floor. Our room door only opened about 45° because it was not properly hung on the hinges so we had to shimmy in and out of our room with our bags. The shower curtain was disgustingly pink with mold and the shower head provided a trickle of water for our showers which we were provided only 2 towels that smelled as if they were not dried fully and smelled spoiled. The comforters were brown from filth or someone else’s body oils so we threw them onto the floor and only had a sheet to sleep with. The pillows were old and floppy and smelled awful as well. This was by far one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. I am so very disappointed. Absolutely Terrible.

Website said pool, there was none. Trashbasket in room was not emenpy. Toilet seat in Room 119 was not secured, it was sliding as a result I fell to the floor and hurt my on knees and had to have help to get up along with the embarrassment.Graduations was going on, brak

The condition of the bathroom was very poor. Smelled of water leaks in hallways and room.

Bedding was dirty and unable to rest due to stomping above my room I called the front office but attendant did not want to address the disturbance with the guest that was stomping above me.

Check in was easy. Room was clean but a bit of odor. Shower head had mold on it.

It was a nice play to spend the night.

I left about two hours after booking because some barefooted woman was trying to get into the rooms on my floor. Beyond that the room was dirty when I got there, with Kleenex stuffed into the peephole and vomit or worse on the wall in the bathroom. This was abysmal and the property did not assist me in rectifying the issue or refunding me. This place should be condemned.
