Rother Street Cottage by Oracle

Lovely little cottage in great location. Loved the character mixed with modern facilities. Lots of lovely homely touches and nice decor. Easy to use appliances and stayed really warm (as it was January) Long stay car park, four minutes walk away, was £7 for 24 hours

A couple of mirrors upstairs would be useful!

Oracle deposit payment link was poor. Stood in the cold for 30 minutes.

Location was perfect, the cottage is beautiful, lovely friendly locals

We felt a bit disappointed that we were expected to strip beds, put bins out !, which we actually requested information of where they actually were, no response, so we carried it to the first available general waste bin we could find, locally. We have never experienced these requirements before, and we believed that the "charge" for the cleaner would be for the above !!?? We do pride our selves on the care and respect we show in the properties, we use Airbnb all the time, and have amazing feedback (it is not always booked by the Same person). Shower was an issue but unfortunately did not see option to be in at the time. However we did enjoy our stay , and also highly recommend the giggling squid , outstanding food.

3 girlfriends staying for a meet up , would have been good to have a mirror in bedrooms and hooks to hang towels

Great location, lovely property

The communication wasn’t great. There was a code for the key box, but no description how to find it (it wasn’t particularly obvious in the dark) and we were asked to take the rubbish to external bins, with no description where to find the bins - we put the bag in a public bin. The heating was all switched off at the power point, it was a very cold day and took some time to warm up the room.
