Lovely little hideaway in town centre. Spotlessly clean and tidy. We all loved the cottage garden. Would definitely return.

Beautiful property and in excellent location. Very well equipped and clean. Fabulous shower and great garden area for good weather.

The only slight downside would be that it was very windy while we were there and the door between the bedrooms rattled badly and was very difficult to stop. Inevitable with an old property. Sofa and beds could be less hard

The accommodation was very charming with wonky wooden beams and cosy interior. It's in a great location, close to the centre of town and all sites. For being situated off a main road opposite the police station, it is not noisy. There is no dedicated parking but there are paid car parking facilities behind the accommodation or you can utilise the park&ride service. The beds are very comfortable, however, there is only 1 closed off bedroom i.e. there is no privacy for the people sleeping on that second bed. The kitchen facilities are very modern with anything you might need. The bathroom is modern and a decent size with a powerful shower, but there is not enough storage for your belongings. We enjoyed resting in the garden at the back of the accommodation.

The description of the accommodation is slightly misleading. There are 2 double beds, however, you need to walk past one bed to get to the bedroom. Therefore I wouldn't recommend the accommodation for more than 2 adults. The ceilings are low, so if you are taller than 6ft (183cm), you will need to watch your head so you don't hit it on the door frames/ walking down the stairs. But it added to the charm of the accommodation. There is no air-conditioning with not a lot of through wind on the top floor. It is not possible to open the window at the top of the stairs so the accommodation can get quite stuffy in the heat. The price was heavily discounted and a lot cheaper than other accommodation in the area. For the price I paid, I was quite satisfied.

Great little place. Very clean and comfortable. A great location for the sights and town centre. Loved it. We had a lovely stay.

Stairs are very narrow and steep. Just to be aware. But a great character feature.
