You have to walk right up the hill, hard for older people to reach the caravan, bed mattress super soft, back was killing me

The location

The staff were rude and they were over charging card payments hoping that you wouldn't notice, they not only tried with us but multiple other families too

Location was perfect as we love Combe Martin. Plenty of room in the caravan itself for the 4 of us.

No toilet roll as expected but we took our own and we were right next to the children's play area which was noisy and had boys kicking a football onto our caravan. Also very steep access to the front of the caravan over grass and parking near by was limited.

Perfect location, Amazing views, nice and quiet caravan pitch.

Only one little disappointment was that the second bedroom was bit small and narrow for 2 teenage kids.

The apartment Overall wasn't fit for purpose Due to the hybrid electric mains shower being dangerous it goes from cold to scolding instantly if cold taps in kitchen or bathroom or even slightly turned on Then many minutes before goes back to desired temperature The plumbing was out of date and inadequate if you turned the hot tap on the noise was deafening There was cobwebs on the inside of the room It was called an apartment but was a divided to other rooms by a door with a dresser in front This room seemed like poor staff accomadation Due to the age of the building and wooden floors the noise from upstairs and games room downstairs and beyond was to much We left 1 day early

We booked a 3 night stay and wanted a comfy bed and shower at the best price as we are out all day, so not normally bothered about the rest. When we arrived, the main house was located in a very nice location overlooking the bay, getting the keys was quick and we were in our room early as it had been cleaned already. We got room 301, it's an apartment that has had some bad reviews on some sites but we don't understand why. It's huge, there is a bathroom with bath and shower, kitchen, bedroom with double bed ( very comfy ) sofa bed and a table set by the windows. The furniture was all solid wood, it's not "Modern" but it's very clean and not bad at all. The best part is the view, 3 big windows overlooking the bay and sea, it's stunning. It's great value and we would book again.

Loads of hot water but the pipework rattles while the boiler refills.
