Belle Arti Gallery Garden House

Very nice apartment in a great location. Walking distance to everything. The host was really responsive, and we even tried a few of the places that were recommended. Would definitely recommend.

What’s not to like about Belle Arti Gallery House! Location can’t be better. In the middle of the lively students district, yet in the historic, charming building with amazing “sicret” garden that provides quiet and calm space, perfect to provide rest after a long walks throughout the city. I haven’t met David, owner, but his assistant Lorry was helpful, welcoming and warm. Amazing hospitality and care! Exceptionally clean place, comfortable, everything I could need. Excellent esspresso available in pleanty, which was very important to me. 😊 I’ll be back to Bologna, for sure. And I will not look for any other place to stay.

I liked everything! Just as a side note - appartement is on the ground floor of the building where families live. Italian families are usually big, very live, warm and - loud. I loved that “hommy” atmosfere.

The apartment was very central, in the University district hence in a very lively area, yet it was very quiet because it is on the inside of the building with a window to a garden. We loved it! The host was very helpful and even offered a freshly baked cake!

The owner and his assistent were incredibly thoughtful and they communicated really well (through whatsapp)! The breakfast was really good, home made italian cakes and pastry, they even gave us a recipe :) The place is very close to the centre, it was very convenient. There is an art university near, therefore the streets are full of bars and cafes where students hang out, it is very lively and safe to walk through even at night. The room is inside an apartment complex and is nice and quiet.

We had a problem to find it, because there was no sign outside. But that was quickly resolved!

Host is really nice ☺️ and helpful. Place of the accommodation is at the core the city. Nearly every day I got local food gift from the host which was delicious.

Only thing that I can say is that probably the time when I was there is the coldest period so that it was a little bit cold to stay. But there is additional air conditioner that you can open while sleeping.

Very good breakfast, and even includes wine. The location is very good and David and Laurie are very kind.
