St Peters Townhouse by Property Promise

Location close to town, staff very responsive, easy to find the key.

Unfortunately the property was filthy. There was rubbish from the previous occupants, a full dirty dishwasher so we had no cups, men’s body hair in the bathrooms, hair all over the “clean sheets”. Walls marked, paint chipped. I get it was the night of the Taylor Swift concert but if you’re going to jack up the prices 4-5x then you need to get more cleaners for that day. I’d avoid staying here or their other properties again.

What a beautiful, excellent and spacious property, perfect for 2 families, amazing bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathrooms, no company at all. Parking is also available near the premises(I don’t know why recently people have reviewed that there is no parking space). Would book it again if I ever have to go Cardiff again.

There is nothing to not like about the property.

I message the owner and try to call about parking, but there is no reply, and the phone number doesn't work. The car park they said you can stay doesn't let you park overnight and had £27 for car park that about 10 min walk away The garden needs cleaning it was very dirty

Loved the location, just minutes from the downtown centre and cardiff castle. Great home base if you want to explore the city. The rooms were well sized, facilities fully functional and instructions very clear on accessing the property.

I'm a Canadian and I've noticed a common trend here in the UK regarding televisions being much smaller for a room than I am accustomed to. I wish the television in the main common area was larger. Additionally whomever was cleaning the property before we got there left a pile of presumably used towels on the floor in the stsirwell. Likely just forgot to come back for them when rushing to have the place ready for our arrival. There were fresh new towels already present so I'm chocking it up to us last minute booking the property. The beds were also all very stuff and firm. One of us loved them. One of us did not, your mileage may very. All in all very minor quibbles.

Please do not book this. Me and my group booking were awoken by a gang of youths who demanded it was there property and that we must leave so they can enter the property. The owner did not seem to help or care, the police were called twice and the cleaner who came said they are a known gang who target this property. Please do not book this property if you value your safety. There were 20 youths who were all either smoking weed, doing balloons or drinking alcohol whilst threatening us. Worst experience of my life.
