We had an amazing stay at Lanaux Mansion! The house itself is absolutely beautiful — so much character and historic charm. The location was perfect, especially for Mardi Gras. It was close enough to everything but still felt peaceful and quiet. Such a thoughtful surprise to have Mardi Gras beads waiting in our room — that extra touch made it feel even more special. The entire experience felt unique and memorable. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was a beautiful home! It had everything we were envisioning for our staying in New Orleans. It was like the past and present t was all happening at one time.

The stairs were rickety and I noticed some areas that the screws had become sort of loose. I tightened them and it helped a lot!

The location could not have been better: very easy walking access to the French Quarter and streetcar; just a block from Frenchmen Street and all the live music you could want. The property is a nicely restored mansion, retaining historical charm but with a good mattress and comfy linens.

The breakfast is nothing to write home about: some yogurt and orange juice. Would be nice to add fresh fruit and a croissant or pastry. Fortunately, it's only a short walk to real coffee and beignets.

La décoration ...

Mal placé au carrefour d'une avenue très bruyante Le garage trop petit pour une voiture américaine Aucune insonorisation, pas de volets. Nous avons été obligés de fermer les rideaux toute la journée Aucun accueil, pas de service : Impersonnel : Ce n'est pas un "Bed & Breakfast" !!! Cuisine incomplète : Impossible de faire un repas et le petit déjeuner continental est une arnaque : Tout ce trouvait en sachets dans le frigo et "débrouille toi"

The location was great for walking around the French Quarter. The building was very charming and comfortable including a nice private outdoor area! Beds were very comfortable.

The bathrooms were a bit outdated - no vanity for putting toiletries etc. while getting ready. K-cup coffee machine wasn't working.
