Riad Agan Exclusive with New Heated Pool and Breakfast included

Excellent breakfast, great location, and good price.

The pool is tiny (not a real pool) and requires an extra fee. The riad wasn't perfectly clean.

Nous avons passé un séjour agréable dans ce Riad spacieux et typique, idéalement situé pour découvrir la ville. Un grand merci à la cuisinière pour sa gentillesse et ses excellents petits déjeuners !

Le standing "prestigieux" annoncé n'est pas tout à fait au rendez-vous. Nous avons rencontré plusieurs désagréments techniques (problèmes électriques persistants, fuite d'eau sur la terrasse, faible pression d'eau dans les douches) et certains équipements/meubles mériteraient d'être remplacés ou mieux nettoyés pour justifier le prix. Un beau potentiel qui demande plus de rigueur sur l'entretien.

Endroit parfait très pratique pour se déplacer, taxi à côté. Personnel très sympa se plie en 4 pour nous merci à raga . Riad très jolie .

La casa és bonica i està molt neta. L’esmorzar boníssim. El Riad és molt cèntric.

La proximitat a la mesquita. La crida a l’oració a les 4-5 del matí s’escolta intensament.

Raja est une femme en or, c'est l'atout du riad. Ses petits déjeuners sont magnifiques, son investissement est irréprochable. Une très belle rencontre.

L'hôte n'est absolument pas professionnel. Je l'ai contacté la veille car nous n'avions aucune information concernant notre arrivée. J'ai été ajouté à un groupe WhatsApp avec un point GPS et un QR code WiFi, nous avons indiqué l'heure approximative de notre arrivée. Une fois sur place, personne n'était là pour nous accueillir. Heureusement, nous arrivons à capter le wifi depuis l'extérieur du riad pour prévenir que nous sommes à la porte. Quelques minutes plus tard, un collaborateur de l'hôte arrive, sans un mot d'excuse pour nous avoir laissé dans la rue avec nos enfants. La visite est expéditive, il nous fait faire le tour des chambres et nous invite à aller voir la terrasse, seuls, nous laissant constater que le lave linge n'a pas de hublot, un sachet plastique traîne dans la piscine, les bains de soleil sont tachés et déchirés, les fauteuils en rotins cassés, les plantes mortes... Mauvaise première impression. Nous signalons le problème du lave linge à la personne sur place, déjà au courant, et qui nous dit qu'on pourra trouver une solution avec la femme de ménage. L'individu prend nos passeports en photo, collecte la taxe de séjour et s'en va seulement 5 minutes après être arrivé, sans explications relatives au fonctionnement des équipements de la maison. La TV au mur ne fonctionne pas, une deuxième est posée dans l'angle du canapé mais pas paramétrée. Les coffres sont verrouillés, j'écris pour savoir comment les utiliser, je n'aurai aucune réponse à ce sujet, ils sont inutilisables durant tout le séjour. Un micro-onde (pas listé dans les équipements mais visible sur les photos de l'annonce) est posé dans la cuisine mais ne fonctionne pas. Il n'y a pas de sèche-linge contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans l'annonce.

Excellent location: the riad is located on what seems like a safe street (next to the Royal Palace, therefore there are 24/7 guards) and next to the hospital and a pharmacy. It is in walking distance to the medina and main sights (15 min) which is really convenient. The riad is very spacious! All the rooms are of a very decent size and have an ensuite bathroom. This feels very luxurious. And it is decorated just beautifully. We loved the aesthetic. There were hairdryers provided, enough sockets for electricity and airconditioners in every room. The lighting was also gorgeous. And we really appreciated that water bottles were provided. The staff was helpful. The breakfast/cleaning lady was always on time and very kind. The owners were also quick to respond via WhatsApp and helped with any questions. Breakfast was good and plentiful. There was orange juice, coffee, tea and milk. There were baguettes, msemen and some type of sweet croissant or pain au chocolate. Freshly made omelettes, and then one other item such as a pancake or donut. There was jam, honey, cream cheese and olives for toppings. And as said: there was plenty of it! Lastly, the place felt clean and well-looked after. Overall it is a beautiful riad in a great location, and perfect for large families or groups.

We were surprised to find out that the heated pool was for the additional charge of €30,- per day. This is not clearly stated in the listing on Booking and also feels very expensive. The owners were willing to find a solution, which was appreciated, but in the end the heating did not work at all (we tried for 8 hours but the pool remained stone cold). We were very disappointed by this because we booked this place specifically for the heated pool. We know that the 'call for prayer' is part of staying in Marrakech. We would have liked to know beforehand that the sound system for the call to prayer is literally on the next house and there is no roof on the riad. It started daily at 6:48 in the morning and lasted for 12 minutes. We were travelling with a toddler and good luck trying to get your 3-year old back to sleep after 12 minutes of chanting at well over 80 decibels! We stayed here in January and even with the heating turned on, it remained cold in the common areas and therefore it wasn't very comfortable to sit in the living room unfortunately.
