Our room was not good. The outlets didn't work, the dispensers in the shower didn't work. But the worst thing was the room faced east and at 5:40am the sun came blaring in, right on the bed. The blinds are very thin and did not prevent this at all. So, we were awake at 5:15 on the 1st day of a much needed vacation. We left after 1 night and got a more suitable place, even knowing that we would not get a refund.
ROThe staff was very friendly and helpful. We left our luggage in a safe room before checking in. The view from the room was very nice and the location is close to the city center.
The beds could be better. Also the room was ready at about 4:30 PM so we had to visit the city until then. The internet in the room was quite slow.
USConcierge FaRay was super warm and all staff were helpful and cordial. Great coffee and tea on the mezzanine level. The co-working spaces, outdoor "backyard" and fitness center on the 8th floor, and pool deck on the 23rd floor were all great. Full kitchen (decently stocked) and laundry in room would be especially nice for longer stays. Room was clean and comfortable, and its use of space is very efficient. Great location for downtown and ASU access.
The mattress is OK, not great. There is almost no storage in the bathroom and clothing storage is limited. A full-length mirror would be a good addition. More comfortable/inviting side chairs and an area rug would give the room a warmer feel.
