Great place, rooms spacious, spotless, lovely en-suite shower, all fully stocked,parking right outside, great access and location for town centre/bus routes and train, perfect for visiting Auckland Project,Castle,Gardens and Deer park, Faith museum and the amazing Kynren

"A comfortable and convenient base for exploring Bishop Auckland and the surrounding area"

I thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay, and would happily have stayed for longer. The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed in the room, including a kettle, tea and coffee. Even a dressing gown was provided. Wi-fi connectivity was great. The shared bathroom was next door to it, with good pressure in the shower. Sean could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The continental breakfast he provided set me up nicely for the day. His house is only a two minute walk from the railway station, and there are 'bus stops just round the corner. It takes only a few minutes by 'bus to reach the town centre - or 15 to 20 minutes in foot. I thought this property offered excellent value for money, and would not hesitate to recommend it and to stay there again.

There was nothing I disliked.

On arriving Sean greeted us warmly and walked us through where the facilities were and our rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was really the icing on the cake.

My single room was comfy and just what I wanted as a base for my holiday. I was surprised to get tea/ Coffee in the room a free breakfast and a microwave to heat food. The owner was friendly and the house was clean and well decorated

Having to leave at the end of my holiday!!
