Traditional Cornish Cottage in the Countryside.

The cottage was perfect in every way we could have imagined. It's comfy and in a great location to explore the local area by car and far enough to feel remote. It's kitted out really well with a brilliant oven and bbq/outdoor space. Beds were comfy and when we arrived the place was spotlessly clean. Really loved our stay and can't recommend this place enough!

We loved everything about this cottage. It was gorgeous, quirky, bright, spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and was in a brilliant location for our stay. The garden was great for our dog, safe and secure. It was very private and so peaceful. It really was perfect.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The floorboards were very creaky, but it's such an old property, it just added to the charm. The kitchen ceiling is low so just watch your head 🤣

Bed was a bit firm for us but that’s just our opinion everything else was great!

The bathroom was mouldy and covered in cobwebs. The wardrobe was full of cobwebs, so we had to leave our clothes in the suitcase. The oven had a tray full of half eaten, mouldy chicken from the previous guests. There was out of date food on the shelves in the kitchen along with some dirty baby wipes. The bedding was covered in dog hair, so obviously hadn't been changed from the previous guests. No hand towels anywhere. But the worst issue was the shower. When I used the shower, it leaked through the lights in the downstairs kitchen. This is obviously dangerous and a potential life threatening fire hazard. We had no choice but to check out and find accommodation elsewhere. The place was not fit for purpose. I contacted the hosts to explain this and his response was "well have to agree to disagree". No refund received.

It was a lovely cottage , very comfortable and close to Hayle and St Ives . The bedrooms were nicely decorated and each bed had an electric blanket , the beds were very comfortable. The garden was nice and private with a seating area . We would happily stay there again as it is in a good location for local beaches

Only gripe was no microwave
