"Lovely cottage in great location!"

Lovely comfy cottage ...great garden for dog.

Parking could be better but we managed ok. Couldn't figure out how to work dryer setting for laundry. Needed a masher and a sharp knife.....

"Excellent location, peaceful cottage in the beautiful Cornish Countryside."

9.0

Location was a bit out of the way - typical for Cornwall, and perfect if you're after peace and quiet at night. We were very lucky with the weather (other than the first day), and the cottage was our place to retire for the night for dinner after a long day out visiting various sites. It was perfect for what we wanted, and great value to boot. Would absolutely return here. Very friendly and helpful host as well, we were allowed to check out an hour later than expected, which really helped us be more relaxed for the long drive back to London.

N/A. There were a few annoying flies, but if you don't like insects, don't come to the countryside ;)

"Had potential but disappointing."

4.0

Cottage is quaint and quirky in a good way. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was fresh and clean. The wood burner was nice and cozy the night I lit it. The cottage was superficially clean. The shower was hot and strong and the bathroom although old was pleasant.

The house is actually split into 2 with the neighbour in the other part. Not noisy but the enclosed garden is indeed shared with his kitchen door. I did not realise this until arrival. The parking is a problem. There is a layby style parking area which is shared with 2 other neighbours. On returning one evening I could not get my mid sized estate car in the spot. We were due to be foursome with another couple and car. They would not have been able to park. This is not suitable if you are a group with more than 1 car. The kitchen although clean smelt of the previous guest's curry. There was a large "kebab shop" style electric fly incinerator in the kitchen which was deeply unattractive. On return on the 3rd night there was a writhing mass of flying ants by this fly trap. We felt uncomfortable as a result and left for home 2 nights early. We informed the owner and he agreed to a 2 night refund which was received through booking.com.

"Very good"

8.0

We loved the location, close to beautiful beaches and other places we wanted to visit. The cottage was very cosy and the garden was private and peaceful.

Lack of information for the cottage, a manual to help navigate the TV, washing machine etc would have been useful. We found a few issues with the cottage but we spoke directly to the hosts and they were very helpful.

Everything about the cottage was perfect. In particular how secure the garden was for our dog and how conveniently the property was located.

There wasn't anything to dislike.
