Falklands street City centre House-Free Parking

Perfect location. Such a pretty street. Very warm house with everything we needed for four. It's well presented and equipped. There is enough tea/coffee etc to get you started and I always welcome a few dish tabs. The parking permit was a relief. It's an easy walk into the city, and there two dog friendly pubs on the doorstep. (In fact when we googled seven came up nearby.) We went to Valhalla and The Stone Roses Bar that both welcome dogs in the centre, and Bruberrie does so for breakfast.

As per other reviews. The TV is too high to watch comfortably and the single beds are creaky and the cubby hole door next to one is not locked, so it made a noise when our fidgety sleeper turned over! - Hard mattresses were welcome, So not an issue for us, and the stairs are steep as expected - again no issue for us, but things to consider. Also no kitchen door, so hard to keep dogs out.

The location is great, the place is clean and well presented, you are closer to york centre but just out enough not to hear night noises. And a great plus is free parking .

Perfect location

Fantastic house very clean and modern. Kitchen well equipped. 5 minute walk to York city centre. Parking space in the street outside. They even put up a Christmas tree for our stay! Would definitely book again for our next visit.

Mattress on the bed was a bit firm for us but not uncomfortable.

Excellent location. Brilliant facilities. Lovely sized property. Modern and comfortable.

The only issue we found was the TV being so high up and side on view from sofas. I would move to an angled arm above the unit by the window and reconfigure the sofas to an L shape so everyone can see the TV.

Excellent location to walk into York. Great facilities. Host had even put a lovely Christmas tree up in the kitchen/diner. Great to have 2 bathrooms/ shower at the property .

Lovely and clean property. Very close to the centre of York and an added bonus of the use of a parking permit.
