This was the perfect location for exploring the city on foot - everything we wanted to see was a short walk away, and our morning walks around the walls and gates were lovely. The living room was nice and cosy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our kids had a lovely time.

It's a lovely apartment but be aware that it includes steep stairs which might not be for everyone. The showers could use an update but they were clean and tidy. The dining table was a bit challenging because I think it was made of real wood and the top side isn't straight.

Fantastic location, great house warm and comfortable, parking was easy, everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. There is a very friendly traditional pub just around the corner, great riverside walks and all of Yorks main attractions within walking distance.

The property was clean, well fitted out and in great condition. As a bonus, while the property was quiet, it was fabulously close to the centre of town.

The stairs were a little steep, but that was a trivial niggle when you consider the property as a whole.

As with terrace houses the stairs are steep . Could do with a couple more larger pans for cooking xx
