Luxury Studio Nestled in the Sussex Countryside

It was quite warm but thankfully a fan was provided.

We were attending a wedding near Battle so having our haven of Swallows' Loft to return to each day was an absolute godsend. Communication was good and the loft easy to find using the directions provided and self-checkin using a lockbox was easy. The loft is compact but perfectly formed with full kitchen (inc combo oven/microwave) and bedroom/seating area upstairs and the shower room and wardrobe area downstairs. Many, many thoughtful touches and so clean yet cosy. And it's noticeably SO CLEAN. Rebecca does all the cleaning herself, which I honestly found hard to believe - everything is sparkling despite there being so many objects making the loft cosy :) There was even milk and wine waiting for us in the fridge and marshmallows and digestives for making Smores on the firepit. The bed and bedding was super comfy, no problems with hot water, everything functioned well. Again, everything was clean and high quality. The private terrace and outdoor airfryer/grill was the icing on the cake. High quality brands all round - Shark, M & S, John Lewis, White Company, Neff, Duallit, Axor etc. Parking with electric charger was right next to the front door. Views one way were of their farmland (and country path through) and the other way, the ruin of an old mansion house. If you fancy an escape and like the look of the loft, do yourself a favour and stay here. We'd go so far as to say this is one of our favourite places we've ever stayed (and we have stayed in a lot). If we lived closer, we'd be visiting often!

As long as you like what you see in the listing, you will have no reason not to absolutely love Swallows' Loft! We travel a lot and absolutely loved it. There is a little noise from walkers on the path and renovations to the main manor house, but it was occasional and in the background and didn't bother us at all. As the loft is in the roofspace, it can get warm in the summer. The Shark fan provided is absolutely brilliant - both powerful and quiet. Our tip is at the end of the day, to put it by an open air source so it pulls cool air into the loft :) Overall, this accommodation is pretty faultless.

This was a lucky find and so comfortable with everything you could possibly need, from the efficient fan to the baking trays to the fire pit and barbecue on the terrace complete with citronella candles and comfortable cushions! I'll definitely be booking again - also so much to see and do nearby. Thanks for a great stay!

Steep sloping roof meaning we had to stoop upstairs

Everything was perfect the host was very friendly and went above and beyond to meet our expectations

If one thing could be done is to have a balcony where the bid view windows are

Amazing location. The accommodation inside has been very well finished, and the space very cleverly used. Small but perfectly formed. Absolutely spotlessly clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again.

The location is beautiful, quiet and I had as much privacy as I needed. Time to rest and recharge a little, away from my usual routine.
