Nothing to dislike really

 easy to review. Ruth and Ben are excellent hosts. They are attentive and helpful but, very respectful of your privacy. The room couldn't be better placed in Sidmouth, 2 mins from the centre and 5 from the Esplanade. The parking place suits a family hatchback. The continental breakfast was excellent and offered good choices. The wet-room was good with a strong and hot shower. We had a superb stay and will stay here again. Highly recommended

The parking area was a little tight but, this was explained before we booked.

Perfect location for exploring Sidmouth Lovely little room with ensuit bathroom and small utility area with fridge, coffee machine, milk throther, hot water dispenser,microwave and toaster. Help your self to continental breakfast in your own time no need to rush around in the mornings so not to miss breakfast we absolutely loved staying here perfect for all our needs during our stay and communication was very good also, will definitely consider booking again in future

Location, car parking, sufficient choices on breakfast, blackout curtains, heating was adequate

Metal chairs without seat pads ( suggest the owner tries them, in the apartment, for an evening, where there is no TV), huge bathroom, but nowhere to place toiletries for 2, needs new pillows, clothes and coat rails only suitable for tall people- far too high

The property was very conveniently located within the town. The guest accommodation was tasteful, warm and comfortable and had its own access. The owners were available but not intrusive. They provided an excellent selection of breakfast items and beverages, which was a lovely touch. There was a file of helpful information provided.

Rather than say that we didn’t like anything we would prefer to make suggestions. The guest accommodation is a separate, but integral part of the family home rather than a distanced annex. Consequently the sounds of normal family life can be heard (this made us smile as it reminded us of our sons and their children). The addition of a TV in the room could deflect from this. It was a little difficult reversing out of the parking space in the dark. Perhaps some suitably positioned light reflectors or similar could help.

There property would benefit from greater soundproofing between the guests’ accommodation and the owners’ residence.

Well appointed very comfy bed luvly room and facilities.less than 10 minute walk to seafront and town

No TV for evening time but that's nice for lots of people.sadly the noise from the washing machine is a little much 3 hours to ten o'clock on Sat night.
