Cedar Shade Cottage Ensuite Private Annexe with Parking

Spotless comfortable room with parking in great location, just a few minutes walk from town and beach. Hosts provide a DIY breakfast which was excellent.

The annexe is ideal for short stay but we would have found it too compact for a longer break. Having read previous reviews we expected to hear some noise from the family home (the annexe is within the footprint of the host's house). This didn't bother us at all until Monday morning when we set our alarm for 8.30 am but were woken much earlier by the family getting ready for work and school.

Location is excellent Parking ideal Breakfast was good

Bathroom was very cold The wet room shower is not ideal and requires mopping up after each shower

All amenities close by,lovely breakfast left for you.

The bed was comfortable

If there was a tv there, you could take your own but it would be easier to have one in the room.

Great location for both center of town and the beach

An outside light by the patio doors would help

Breakfast was fine, lovely bread, fresh croissants, tea and coffee all laid on, nice fruit, jam and marmalade in the refrigerator.

A light along the side walk and over the French doors for when you are arriving home in the dark.
