Sunset Plaza Beach Resort Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive

It was definitely off season, which made it even better! There were twice as many staff as guests, The restaurants were very good, the view was amazing, The rooms and the grounds were exceptionally clean and well maintained. It is not an over the top boogie hotel, but was extremely comfortable and relaxing! The staff is the best we have ever had at an all inclusive!

The property was good. The view is beautiful. The problem was not the property, but the employees attitude.

Property was good, good location, the food was not good. I wish they had more seafood options besides ceviche only. Also there are no lounge chairs at the beach.

The location is perfect. The employees were friendly, helpful, and fun! Mario is an absolute gem! He went above and beyond for our family. The rooms are nothing fancy, but clean. Drinks were good and filled often!

There were limited food options and no buffet, which normally wouldn’t be a problem, but the restaurant choices were not so great. There is one restaurant that is open most of the time and one that rotates specialties (Italian, French, Mexican) for dinner. There is also a 24 hour cafe with coffee, paninis, desserts, and breads. A pizza and ice cream place was also open at dinner time. In order to get lunch you had to be in a pool lounger or you had to be dressed (no swimwear) to get service. Pool loungers were usually all taken by 9am, so they were hard to find at lunchtime. There was very little entertainment at night. Room service charges a fee. The in-room bar has two beers, two juice boxes, a sprite and a Coke.
