Old Tavern House

It was really comfortable with beautiful living room and kitchen area not far from the shop and 2 local pubs.

After a long train/ bus journey we found the property warm and welcoming. Very convenient for public transport. We really appreciated the little extras.

The property was lovely , looked after , kitchen was great

Livingroom was lovely but a big cold room . We would have happily sat in the kitchen had there been a Tv on the wall . As we weren’t very comfy sitting on couches in living room although nothing wrong with couches

Good location ideal for a stay on the Black isle

Location as we were visiting family and presentation and facilities were excellent

Couldnt get tv to work but just not familiar with sky

The apartment was lovely and clean. Very convenient for the shops. The bakery is amazing. The Coop up the road is very useful. We had a lovely walk down to the Point the first night but saw no dolphins. We did see them however on the Friday morning brilliant.

We had a problem with the TV as the satellite had come apart. This was sorted easily the next day with a firestick 😊.

shame about pub next door stayed on sat night and was very noisy

Everything was perfect! When you step in the door you feel like you are in the heaven and they immediately offer you a welcome drink 🥂 We felt comfortable that they have a 24 hours check-in system, because we were in a travelling from the islands and couldn't get there earlier, than late night, so it was a fantastic feeling, that we didn't have to give up the chosen place because of the check-in time limit.

The people in the bar beside can be noisy and annoying (we arrived there on Saturday night), but it doesn't make me to give less, than 10 points 🙂

Location was perfect as very central and on arriving essentials there to have a hot drink and Thurrock Tea Cake. Much appreciated after travelling most of the day

Location right next to Tavern Pub, which is a good thing as very welcoming. However, if you are early to bed then it can be noisy as revellers leave . Not a problem for us as we were up at that time
